@home audio video began as the brainchild of Mark Midyett, Vice-President and Senior Engineer of Don Fillers and Associates. In business since 1985, DFA specializes in custom and commercial audio-video sales and installation. Some of DFA's notable clients include Neyland Stadium and The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN, the Maryville Municipal Building in Maryville, TN, as well many churches, businesses and residences throughout the region.
Over the decade Mark has spent with DFA he has noticed an emerging trend within the audio-video industry. Home Theater systems, once the toys of only the wealthy, were now becoming affordable. Not only that, with the huge variety of products available, everyone could afford a quality stereo, television or theater system. The question became, "How do you get these products into the homes of regular people?" The answer was @home audio-video.
On January 2nd 2006, @home audio-video was born. Based on the core values of Simplicity and Service, @home was designed to provide quality products, a comfortable sales process and exceptional service and installation. We believe that most people are not interested in the technical intricacies of home theater. Most just want their music and movies to sound and look great. @home audio-video was conceived to do just that.
With our first retail store opening in August 2006, @home audio-video hopes to change how people shop for and purchase home theater electronics. With a combined 50 years of experience in the audio-video industry we believe that we are in a unique position to use this experience to bring quality audio-video to everyone.
